By using personal.city you accept the terms below. Personal City is a recruitment agency that helps workers and companies in Israel find each other.
Who Personal City is
Personal City is a recruitment agency registered in Israel. We help Israeli citizens and foreign nationals holding valid Israeli work permits find vacancies at Israeli employers.
Personal City is an intermediary, not the employer
Once you are hired through us, your actual employer is the company we connected you with. Personal City is not responsible for paying your salary, on-site working conditions, drawing up the labour contract, Bituach Leumi contributions, or income tax — these are the employer’s duties under Israeli labour law. We act as an intermediary during the matching phase and ongoing follow-up, and we help mediate disputes.
Who may use the site
The service is available to:
- Israeli citizens and permanent residents 18 years or older.
- Foreign nationals holding a valid Israeli work permit (B/1 work visa; B/2 tourist visa does not qualify).
- Company representatives — for posting vacancies and reviewing candidates.
User obligations
By signing up you agree to:
- Provide truthful information about yourself.
- Not use the site to post illegal vacancies or apply without lawful grounds to work in Israel.
- Notify us if your work-permit status changes.
- Not share your account with third parties.
- Comply with the labour laws of the State of Israel.
Payments
The service is free for workers. We charge no fees for profile registration, applying to vacancies, or contacting employers. If anyone asks you to pay them to get a job — that is a scam, please contact us. Employer companies pay our fees under a separate agreement.
Intellectual property
Site content (texts, design, logo, vacancy photos other than those provided by the employer) belongs to Personal City. Use without written permission is prohibited. Vacancy postings, resume photos and data you upload remain yours; you grant us a right to use them for matching and contacting potential employers.
Limitation of liability
Personal City makes reasonable efforts to verify data but does not guarantee:
- The accuracy of every vacancy published on the site (we verify, but final checks of terms are on you).
- That an employment contract will be signed — that decision belongs to the employer.
- Working conditions, salary payment, or team dynamics — those are the actual employer’s responsibility.
- Uninterrupted service (we may have maintenance windows).
Account termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to block accounts without notice if these terms are violated, false data is provided, or the site is used in ways that contradict Israeli law.
Changes to the terms
The terms may be updated. We will notify you of substantial changes by email or WhatsApp in advance. Continued use after the updated terms are published means you accept them.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel. Disputes are heard by the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo.
